Amy & Dylan

Amy found me on facebook a few months ago...I think...right Amy? and I was so excited to book their wedding! They have so much personality and so much heart - I think that's pretty clear when you look at their pictures! (and they're huge dog lovers!)

The ranch/farm/groves (not sure what to call it!) where we shot their engagement session was fantastic, and as evening approached peacocks were hopping around in the trees above us! How fun! These two were a blast to work with!

Katrina & Chris

Katrina was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot earlier this year...at which she was styled in an amazing (and big) Amy Winehouse updo! Shooting their engagement session was a lot of fun! I just love this couple and I'm sooo sad that I won't be able to shoot their fabulous vintage themed wedding :( Sadly, I was already booked for their date, but I am so thrilled that they still chose me to shoot their engagement session. I think they photographed beautifully!

Megan & Kyle

Megan & Kyle had a sweet and simple garden wedding at the Winter Haven Garden Center. Megan is a classic beauty and the natural scenery of the gardens suited her perfectly! I just love the gorgeous ivy covered walls surrounding the Center, it feels so Secret Garden. I love it! And to top it off at the end of the day a beautiful double rainbow graced the sky! Such a beautiful symbol of a beautiful promise on their special day!

Melissa & Michael

Since it seems next to impossible for me to stay caught up on my blog posts week to week, I thought I would post a few today to showcase weddings from the last few weeks!

Melissa & Michael were married on Lake Rosalie in Lake Wales and had a very special ceremony including their son Chance. What started as beautiful, sunny morning quickly transformed into a full day of torrential down pouring...and I mean a lot of rain ALL day! But the skies cleared up just long enough for Melissa & Michael to exchange their vows by lake, we snapped a few family portraits and had to rush back indoors for the reception before the bottom fell out again!

Weather and all, it was a beautiful day! The flowers and details were amazing and I absolutely loved that they rented a photo booth for their guests! How fun is that!

I hear rain on your wedding day is good luck...Melissa & Michael must have an amazing future in store!

Polk County Bridal Exhibit

Just wanted to share a few pics of my booth from the Polk County Bridal Exhibit 2 weeks ago at the Polk Museum of Art. It was a hectic and busy expo, but I've already got several amazing brides lined up for 2009 from the show!

And of course, thanks to Danny Cruz for the great photos! And endless thanks to my amazing assistant Rachel...aka "Red Hot Rachel" haha! :)
